Trying To Feel Better

Is it going to be rainy the rest of the summer? I’ve had headache for three days now and this weather is making it worse. I don’t think sitting in front of the computer for hours has given me headache otherwise I would have had headache every single day. Everything I need to do has been interrupted because of this awful situation. I went to bed after breakfast today while hubby Leif was resting too. But I couldn’t sleep in a broad day light so I got up and went to the kitchen. Since I couldn’t work more on my PC because of my headache, I tried to think something that could make myself busy and engaged so to alleaviate the pain. Then I thought of baking a sponge cake. I haven’t done this in a long time so I thought I needed my cookbook. I always do when I bake as I’m a hopeless, trying hard wife in the kitchen. Lol!

It turned out to be a good idea since we needed something to go with the coffee when we sit and watch films. The headache hasn’t completely gone yet but I think I’m surviving the day because I made a sponge cake.

  1. Why is it that your summer there is always raining?…mao gyud na?…anyway good idea(baking) at least nalingaw ka sa maghapon,…but if ever your headache will persist these next coming days, it is better for you to visit a doctor na cguro,…para maresetahan ka ng sakto!…wag mong tiisin lagi,…see a doctor!…take care ha!…pagaling ka agad…for you to enjoy the rest of your summer,…sabi mo nga malapit n nman ang taglamig d’yan….love you Len,…how i wish i can hug you!…

  2. I love the smell of newly baked cakes.
Maybe you need to see a doctor to relief the pain in your head? Do you have migraine?

  3. Non, this is what we call summer-fall. Summer pa, pero murag fall na. My headache has gone, thanks dearie. But I think I got colds because of Leif’s aircon and fan. It’s driving me nuts sometimes. Luy you2. Hugss virtually na lang. 🙂

  4. Welcome, zezebel. I like your name. And thank you, I still have left-over here, hehee. I should see a doctor next time. I don’t have a migraine but my hubby used to have. He might have moved it in my head.

  5. Thank you Mylene. My father give my name because he love to see one of the popular Filipino actress by the same name.
My sister do have a migraine, wish she don’t transfer it to me to. Ehehehe….

  6. Hi, I have been having severe headaches for about the last 3 weeks or so. I am 21.5 weeks pregnant. Today i had my monthly appt with my OB and she prescribed me floricet to take for pain. I was wondering if anyone else has taken this before during pregnancy? I am very sensitive to pain medicine, so i am concerned about taking it. What were your side effects to the medicine? Also does anyone have any kind of remedies for headaches that i may not have heard of? Thank You!
