Rainy Saturday

| 28 July 2012 | 0 Comments

After several days of sweat and heat the rain is much welcome today. I woke up late (I always do) but last night was different because I watched the 2012 London Olympics opening ceremony. It was stunning and I was so impressed. It ran for about 3 hours and hubby woke up and was able to watch the torch lighting. I admit it was the first time I watched an Olympic Games opening ceremony. I remember about the Olympics in Barcelona but I didn’t know the opening ceremony would be shown live on tv. I didn’t even bother to see previous Olympic Games which was held in Beijing that, according to many, left an unrivaled opening ceremony.

Anyhow, this day is wonderful day for hubby Leif and me. He went out at around 9 a.m. for work and came home while I was still in bed. He wanted us to do grocery shopping but I refused. I didn’t want to go out in the rain. Dinner was simple and light. I made fried banana with ice cream again. We had coffee and liquor while watching our favorite tv series on dvd. Good night!
