It’s definitely hard to take a photograph of people walking on the streets or down the hallway. It comes out blurry even when they are just walking slowly. But there must be some techniques to teach us how to do it. We’re constantly learning.

Sitting at the St. Regis Hotel bar in Singapore one night before heading to our room. It marked the end of the day’s strolling and shopping. Leif took this picture and surprisingly it came out colourful. The light from the candle gave a calm shade of crimson. Awesome!

This is one of my favorite photos taken by Leif in Singapore. He has quite learned how to take photographs at night with our Nikon D90. Sometimes it turns out good, sometimes not though. But practice makes perfect. So quiet at the time of the night and quite so dark at past 5:00 p.m. that all the lights were on.

Photo Friday Challenge : Soft Light

The nights in Davao are but warm and cozy. If you think it’s warmer then going in some hotel bars for a chill is not a bad idea. That’s the Apo View Hotel practically illuminated at night. 2009 must be its 60th anniversary. It’s so good to see those trees and other green plants in the city, thus, giving an environmet-friendly surroundings. – Photographed by: Leif

Driving on the bridge is like having a feeling of uncertainty. When you see nothing but the road of the bridge and the end is nowhere to be seen you feel like you’re floating in the air and over the water. And when you finally see the end of it you’ll feel that you’ve overcome your fear and anxieties. Although some bridge are safe and stable enough you’ll never get scared while on it. This is the Oresunds Bridge that connects Sweden and Denmark.
