Midsummer Day

Yesterday was Midsummer Day celebration here and the day before was Midsummer Eve, where people traditionally dance around a midsummer pole that is decorated with flowers.  Those who are willing to dance usually wears a wreath on the head.  Leif and me drove around hoping to witness the highlight of the celebration, but it we went out late cos we thought it would rain hard.  We looked for a restaurant where we could dine but surprisingly, all were closed.  Guess where we ate instead?  At Mcdonalds, hahaa!  I had no idea the restaurants would close on Midsummer Eve, knowing that it’s not a red day in the calendar.  On Midsummer day, the weather was not inviting at all for an outdoor leisure so we stayed at home and did barbecue again.
